2. Products & Pricing
- All products are subject to availability. As we raise our stock in small, natural batches, stock levels may vary.
- Product weights listed are approximate target weights due to the artisanal, natural nature of individual butchery cuts.
- All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are calculated and displayed at checkout.
- We reserve the right to update product pricing or descriptions at any time without prior notice.
3. Orders & Payment
- An order confirmation email will be sent upon successful placement of your order. This email acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute formal acceptance.
- Payment must be made in full at checkout via our secure payment gateways (Credit/Debit Card, Apple Pay, PayPal, etc.). Orders will not be dispatched until funds have cleared.
4. Delivery & Receiving Frozen Goods
- Our meat is vacuum-sealed and frozen at peak freshness on the day of butchery. It is shipped in specialised insulated packaging designed to keep contents frozen or chilled during transit.
- Customer Responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the delivery or that clear “safe place” instructions are provided to the courier.
- Upon delivery, goods must be unpacked immediately and placed into a freezer (or refrigerator if planning to consume within 48 hours).
- 11 Oaks Farm cannot be held responsible for product deterioration resulting from delayed retrieval after delivery has been completed by the courier.
5. Consumer Rights & Perishable Goods
Under UK law (The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), the standard 14-day “right to cancel” or return goods does not apply to perishable goods, including food items that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. Please refer to our Refund & Return Policy for full details on damaged or defective goods.
6. Limitation of Liability
11 Oaks Farm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, improper storage/handling of products post-delivery, or delivery delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, courier disruptions).
7. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
